Taj West End Bengaluru Wins Karnataka Tourism Award for Best Luxury Hotel

The Federation of Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI), Bangalore has recognised The Taj West End, Bangalore as ‘The Best in Luxury Hotel’ at the Karnataka Tourism Awards held recently.

The award was presented by Priyank Kharge, Tourism & IT-BT Minister, Government of Karnataka to Somnath Mukherjee, General Manager, The Taj West End.

On the occasion, Mukherjee, said, “There is no greater joy than a seal of approval and appreciation from one’s own patrons and peers. It is indeed a proud moment for us at the Taj West End; where we have always endeavoured to offer bespoke experiences to today’s discerning leisure and business travellers. ‘The Best in Luxury Hotel’ by FKCCI is truly a feather in our cap! This award is a testament to our dedication to our guests assuring them of the quintessential Taj service and quality and their faith in us. We are absolutely delighted and proud to receive this award.”

Built in 1887, The Taj West End is the oldest hotel in Bengaluru, the Silicon Valley of India. Standing tall for the last 129 years, the iconic Taj West End has carefully preserved the richness of old world charm and colonial architecture, amalgamating it with modern amenities, a distinctive outdoor bar and multi-cuisine specialty restaurants, personalized service, and rooms and suites spread over 19-acres of landscaped greenery.

The Federation of Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Bengaluru, has instituted the ‘FKCCI –Karnataka Tourism Award’ which is presented to individuals / organizations who work for the development of tourism activities in the State. It confers the award annually under various categories including hospitality, wildlife, eco-tourism and adventure, medical tourism.
