Marriott International appoints Debdyuti Dasgupta as General Manager of Khao Lak Marriott Beach Resort & Spa

With over 20 years of global experience, he will help the brand with strong financial management and strategic operations

Marriott International has announced the appointment of Debdyuti Dasgupta as General Manager of the upcoming Khao Lak Marriott Beach Resort & Spa, which is set to open in the fourth quarter of 2024. Dasgupta brings 20 years of global experience in the hospitality sector, with a strong background in financial management and strategic operations.

Before this role, he served as General Manager at Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok and has held significant positions in finance across various hotels in Thailand and with Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts in Africa and the Middle East. He is a certified chartered accountant and holds a credential in Hotel Real Estate and Investments from Cornell University.

Commenting on his appointment, Dasgupta said, “I am honoured and excited to lead the team at Khao Lak Marriott Beach Resort & Spa as we embark on this new journey.
