JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu has appointed Chef Asif Qureshi as the Indian Masterchef at its speciality restaurant, Saffron. With over 20 years of experience in the culinary field, Chef Asif aims to enrich the restaurant's focus on authentic Indian flavours.
Coming from the renowned Qureshi culinary lineage of Lucknow, he has trained under notable chefs and has held significant positions in prestigious hotels, including The St Regis and JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar. Chef Asif is known for his signature dishes like Kumbh Ki Gilawat and Doodhia Paneer Tikka, alongside traditional Indian breads.
