Air India has received significant international recognition, earning accolades for its innovation and exceptional passenger service. The carrier was recently honoured with the Good Design Award Australia 2024 for its Vista Verve onboard product and clinched three APEX Awards at the Future Travel Experience (FTE) ceremony in Singapore.

“We are happy to receive these global recognitions that underscore our commitment towards delivering excellence in every aspect of a customer’s journey. Winning on such global platforms stands as a testament to the efforts of Air India as we enhance passenger experience and strive towards being a world-class airline,” said Rajesh Dogra, Chief Customer Experience Officer, Air India.

The Good Design Award Australia 2024 highlighted the elegance and innovation of Air India’s Vista Verve product line. This range includes premium tableware, Slovakian lead-free glassware, and plush linens with mattress toppers, blending luxury with sustainability. The new offering, available on all UK routes; London Heathrow, London Gatwick, Birmingham; and select US routes like New York and Washington, is a significant step in enhancing passenger comfort.

At the FTE Awards in Singapore, Air India was recognised in three key categories:

  • Four Star Global Airline 2025, for consistently high standards of service across its network.

  • Best Cabin Service in Central/Southern Asia, reflecting the airline’s attentive and personalised inflight hospitality.

  • Best Food & Beverage in Central/Southern Asia, celebrating its thoughtfully curated onboard dining experience.

These accolades align with Air India’s ambitious Vihaan.AI transformation initiative, which aims to redefine the airline’s operations and elevate it to global standards.
